DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, Santo Domingo, Banco Central de la Republica Dominicana, 1 peso oro specimen, no date (1947-55), misaligned doubled and tripled overprint error, ex-ABNCo archives.

Bank governor's signature and the bank seal are doubled and misaligned plus a third governor's signature is inverted over the secretary's signature. There are some subtle inking differences between the duplicated overprint and the original, perhaps from an ABNCo test print? Slight overinking error? Tough to say why ABNCo printed this given their possibly unique status. Choice UNC, two POCs. Pedigreed to the American Bank Note Company archives.
